Terms of use

These terms apply when you use IELTS Core. By creating an account or using the website, you agree to them.

The service

IELTS Core is a free, independent IELTS practice website. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, the British Council, IDP or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Band scores on IELTS Core are practice estimates, not official results, and they do not predict your official score.

Your account

• Keep your password private and do not share your account.
• Give a real name or nickname you are happy for a teacher to see.
• You are responsible for what you do with your account.

Using IELTS Core fairly

• Use the tests and materials for your own study. Do not copy, resell or republish them.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the website's security, or collect data from it automatically.
• Be respectful in Speaking Club and in anything you send to teachers. Do not share anything offensive or anyone's personal details.

Your work

Your essays, answers and recordings stay yours. You allow us to store and process them so we can mark them, give feedback and show them to a teacher you connect with.

AI feedback

The AI Tutor and the AI Speaking examiner can make mistakes. Use their answers as guidance, not as a final judgement.

Availability

We work to keep IELTS Core running and its answer keys correct, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. If you find a mistake in a test, please tell us.

Price

Everything on IELTS Core is free right now. If that ever changes, we will tell you well in advance, and your saved attempts and progress will stay yours.

Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Write to us on Telegram at @ieltscoreadmin.
